Q: What do you use for drawing?
A: I normally use completely ordinary B pencils from Faber Castell. You know, the grey ones with the little black dots to have a more secure grip :3
For inking I use Micron pens in sizes 0.1, 0.2, 0.5 and 0.8
When it comes to coloring, it varies a little, depending on what I feel like using.
I prefer to use my Faber Castell Polychromos (colored pencils), but from time to time I also like to put my huge stash of Copic Markers to use.
They're mostly used when I'm lazy and when I'm doing larger pics. Very rarely I can be found trying my hand at watercolors, which are Sennelier :)
I dislike drawing digitally, but on very rare occasions I'll sometimes color stuff. I use Painter IX for that, and occasionally PS7 as well.
I use 90gram printer paper for doodling, and various kinds of more expensive paper for gifts/comissions/etc.
My favorite to use for such is either Winsor & Newton's "Smooth Surface Cartridge Pad Heavy Weight" (220gram) for A4, or Sennelier's hot pressed grain satiné watercolour paper for A3 :D
But really, I'm not picky :3 If it's smooth and doesn't smudge the colours, I'll use it.
Q: How long have you been drawing?
A: Uhm, apparently since I was a toddler, but I'll say since 2000. That's when I really started to care about how my drawings looked and when I decided to make an effort to get better.
Q: Do you want to be a professional artist?
A: Eh, kind of. I'd love to publish a comic at one point, but apart from that, drawing is just a nice hobby and not something I ever expect to get rich by doing.
Q: Can I use your art for icons/layouts/etc?
A: Ask me first and do not use commissions, gift art and my original characters.
Q: Can I use your art for money-making purposes?
A: NO. I will sue, trust me.
Q: Will you draw this-and-that for me?
A: No, I don't do requests. You're very welcome to leave suggestions, but don't expect me to do them. I might, but no promises.
I don't want to come off as a bitch, but I honestly don't have time, with work, school and time for drawing what I myself feel like. Sorry!
Q: Do you take comissions?
A: Occasionally, yes. It depends on how much sparetime I have. But feel free to e-mail me and I'll get right back to you!
Q: What are your prices then?
A: Take a look here. Anything you want but it's not on the list? Ask me. We'll figure something out.
